Our biggest fundraising event is back! This year, Seven Oaks General Hospital celebrates 20 years of leading the way in chronic disease management. Our Gala will honor Dr. Kevin Saunders, a noted family physician, leader in our community and one of the founders of the Wellness Institute.
Please join us on Friday October 21, 2016 at the Fort Garry Hotel. Experience a night of socializing, dancing to incredible live music from the Danny Kramer Band, an exceptional multi course meal and our popular live and silent auctions. Last year’s event raised over $170,000 to support the important work and life changing research happening right here at Seven Oaks General Hospital.
We would love to see you there! Contact Lindsay Santa at 204-632-3552 to buy your tickets or purchase online now!

One year ago on October 4, 2012 an Open House was held to celebrate the completion of the Access to Care project at Seven Oaks General Hospital. This is a collection of photos from the space taken over the last 12 months.
This image collection is also available on Facebook and you can see it here.
The Seven Oaks General Hospital Foundation appreciates the Winnipeg Foundation’s support for our recently completed Foundation Renewal Project. The project included upgrades to our internal software, training for staff and consulting services for long term planning.
On December 12, 2012 a small reception was held for the unveiling of the largest art piece in Winnipeg’s North End. Seven Oaks Sunrise is the newest public art installation created by artist Simon Hughes and generously donated by The Jessiman Foundation.
Created from a small watercolour painting then recreated over 500 square feet in more than 110,000 individual tiles, this giant mosaic is sure to be appreciated by all entering Seven Oaks General Hospital for years to come.
We are thrilled to announce that we have completed the facility building phase of the Access to Care and celebrated with a Grand Opening on Oct. 4. Here are the photos.
Seven Oaks General Hospital is usually pretty quiet at 9 o’clock on a Sunday morning but that wasn’t the case this past weekend as over 500 participants took place in the 9th Annual Commit to Get Fit Run at Wellness Institute. The 5 and 10 k course starts on Leila in front of the hospital, heads down and around Amber Trails and finishes in front of Wellness.
This is an incredibly diverse event which attracts everyone from recent participants in chronic disease programming to competitive and recreational runners, Wellness Institute members, Seven Oaks Hospital staff, community members and their families walking the course together. Over 580 registered for the event.
Our congratulations and thanks are owed to the organizers and volunteers who made the event a great success again this year!

Welcome to the new online presence of Seven Oaks General Hospital which integrates Hospital, Foundation and Wellness Institute services into one combined web site! You can still skip to the Hospital, Foundation or Wellness Institute information just like when we had three independent sites, but you can also find out about and interact with our entire organization, including using popular social media tools.
We integrated the sites to reflect the actual integration of services in our organization. More and more, patients of Seven Oaks are leaving with a “prescription” for learning to manage a chronic condition at Wellness Institute for instance. That will only increase with the upcoming addition of a new Family Medicine clinic as part of the Access to Care development.
A review and reorganization of our Foundation a few years back means that campaigns and activities of the Foundation are now more aligned with the capital needs and future development plans of Seven Oaks Hospital. Check out some of the upcoming events that will help to achieve our vision for Seven Oaks or read more in the online version of Positively Healthy magazine.
