Seven Oaks General Hospital opened its doors in 1979, and would not have become a reality without the strong community support that has always defined this north west Winnipeg neighbourhood.
The community came together once again in 1996 to support the Wellness Institute as it pioneered the roll of medical fitness facility; offering health and fitness programming that makes a real difference.
Members and supporters of the Wellness Institute and the Hospital have continued to demonstrate the value of investing in the health and well-being of our community by consistently supporting our programs, initiatives and capital campaigns and we would not have been able to accomplish our latest redevelopment projects such as the new ER and our Dialysis Units without your generous support.
Now, with the addition of Access to Care, the Hospital is building on a track record of successful innovation, having seen great success with its strategies for illness prevention, the implementation of efficiencies that allow it to maintain the shortest ER wait times in Winnipeg, and by focusing on more efficient, patient-centered care. This important project would not be possible without the support of our donors and community volunteers. Your investment aids us in our mission to provide exceptional care, as we strive to prevent illness and restore health; and will make a profound difference in the lives of all those who enter our Hospital in need of care. Thank you for your continued support.
