Diagnostic Imaging 

Seven Oaks General Hospital is committed to providing a full range of imaging services to the community. On average, the Imaging Department provides over 50,000 imaging procedures to inpatients, emergency patients and outpatients per year. The Diagnostic Imaging department also supports educational programs for Radiology, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine in cooperation with the University of Manitoba, Red River College and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Imaging services provided in Diagnostic Imaging include; General Radiography (x-ray), Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine. These services are available by having a physician complete a WRHA Request for Consultation for DI Exam form and either faxing it to the Diagnostic Imaging Access Centre 787-8910 (central intake office for all requisitions for the shortest wait time) or directly to Seven Oaks General Hospital( 694-9323).

Normal business hours for outpatient procedures are between the hours of 8 am and 4:30 pm for Computed Tomography, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.  Ultrasound services are on an appointment only basis with hours from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm daily.
