Diagnostic Imaging
Seven Oaks General Hospital is committed to providing a full range of imaging services to the community. On average, the Imaging Department provides over 50,000 imaging procedures to inpatients, Urgent Care patients and outpatients per year. The Diagnostic Imaging department also supports educational programs for Radiology, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine in cooperation with the University of Manitoba, Red River College and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Imaging services provided in Diagnostic Imaging:
- General Radiography (x-ray)
- Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography (CT)
- Ultrasound
These services are available by having a physician complete a WRHA Request for Consultation for DI Exam form and either faxing it to the Diagnostic Imaging Access Centre 204-787-8910 (central intake office for all requisitions for the shortest wait time) or directly to Seven Oaks General Hospital 204-694-9323.
Hours for outpatient procedures:
- Radiology (x-ray): 8 am -9 pm daily
- Computed Tomography and Ultrasound: 7:30am to 11pm daily by appointment only
Results
Results are sent to the referring Physician. Patients can request their results directly from their referring Physician.
