Parking

Visitor Parking is available in the front lot across from the Leila Avenue main entrance or at Urgent Care in the lower lot at the McPhillips Street (east) end of the hospital. 

Remember your license plate number and pay using the machines inside the hospital (Main Entrance on Leila Avenue or Urgent Care at McPhillips Street entrance), using either credit card or coins.

  • The cost is $2.50 an hour, or $8 for 24 hours, or $40 a week, or $80 a month.

Payment for parking is also available through the HangTag app, use your smart phone to scan the QR code posted at both entrances, and follow the prompts.

Dialysis and Oncology Parking is reserved for patients of those services We offer a discounted parking pass for our Dialysis patients $25/month, available in our Finance Office.


Staff Parking: There are two (2) staff lots at SOGH for employee monthly parking.  One (1) is located at the Leila Avenue entrance and one (1) at the Court Avenue entrance.  There are no assigned parking stalls, but on a first come, first served basis.  You must park in your assigned lot only.  When parking in your assigned lot, the parking pass must always be displayed, with the barcode facing out towards the windshield.  Failure to display a valid permit may result in a ticket and/or towing of your vehicle.

  • The cost for employees for monthly parking in assigned lot is $42/month.
  • Wellness Institute parking is for non-staff members only.

Parking fees are used to pay for maintenance of parking lots, to ensure parking availability and to support facility and service improvements not funded by provincial healthcare funding.


Push chairs called Staxis for helping patients and/or visitors to get around are available for a 1$ coin deposit at entrances
